Refund Policy

Jawed Ibrahimi Charity Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to humanitarian causes. As such, donations are generally considered final and non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated to support our programs and beneficiaries. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

2. When Refunds May Be Considered

We may consider refunding donations in the following circumstances:

• Duplicate Donations: If you accidentally made the same donation twice
• Processing Errors: If there was a technical error in the donation processing system
• Unauthorized Transactions: If your donation was made without your authorization (fraud)
• Incorrect Amount: If you entered an incorrect amount due to a system error
• Program Cancellation: If a specific program you donated to is cancelled before funds are used

3. When Refunds Will Not Be Granted

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following situations:

• Change of mind after making a donation
• Disagreement with how funds are being used (as long as they align with our stated mission)
• Personal financial difficulties after the donation has been made
• Donations made more than 30 days ago (unless under exceptional circumstances)
• Donations that have already been allocated to specific programs or beneficiaries
• Donations made through third-party platforms where we have no control over the refund process

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us within 30 days of the original donation (or as soon as you become aware of the issue)
2. Provide the following information:
   • Your full name and contact information
   • Donation amount and date
   • Transaction ID or receipt number
   • Reason for the refund request
   • Any supporting documentation

5. Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for the donation

• Any tax receipts issued for the original donation will be voided
• We may request additional verification for large refund amounts

6. Recurring Donation Refunds

For recurring donations:

• You can cancel future recurring donations at any time through your account or by contacting us
• Refunds for past recurring donations will be considered under the same criteria as one-time donations
• We recommend cancelling recurring donations rather than requesting refunds for each payment
• Changes to recurring donations may take 1-2 billing cycles to take effect

7. Third-Party Platform Donations

If you made your donation through a third-party platform (such as GoFundMe, Facebook, or other crowdfunding sites), refund requests must be made directly through that platform. We have no control over refunds processed through third-party services and cannot guarantee their refund policies.

8. Tax Implications

Please note that if you received a tax deduction for your donation and later receive a refund, you may need to adjust your tax filings accordingly. We recommend consulting with a tax professional if you have questions about the tax implications of a refunded donation.

9. Alternative Solutions

Before requesting a refund, we encourage you to consider these alternatives:

• Redirecting your donation to a different program or cause
• Converting a one-time donation to a smaller recurring donation
